Maintenance Worker

The resource will be responsible for carrying out routine and extraordinary installation and/or maintenance activities of fire protection systems and equipment.

Main activities:

  • Perform installation, maintenance, and commissioning of new systems, intervening directly in case of faults and identifying solutions with minimal impact;
  • Carry out repairs, routine, and extraordinary maintenance based on diagrams, drawings, procedures, or operating instructions;
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, conduct tests, and make adjustments;
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders;
  • Report to the supervisor any discrepancies between planned and actual maintenance times;
  • Inform the supervisor of any consumable materials needed for maintenance activities;
  • Contact support contacts to research and order correct spare parts for the equipment;
  • Complete and maintain relevant documentation.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Technical diploma;
  • Previous experience in the same role, preferably in the fire protection systems sector.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and testing procedures;
  • Ability to set up and interpret results from various measuring instruments, and use electrical and manual tools;
  • Ability to analyze and plan each job to determine the necessary tools, equipment, and materials;
  • Ability to work at heights requiring the use of ladders, scaffolding, and motorized lifts.

WORK LOCATION: Bergamo

WORKING HOURS: Full-time, Monday to Friday

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent contract
